Half a century of excellence

In 2014 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of becoming the Bowles Rocks Trust, an outdoor charity supporting young people.

The aim was to have an inspired year, raising money, having fun and trying out new adventures and we achieved all three.  We organised 50 activities, events and challenges including open days, bake offs, Easter Egg hunts, charity bike rides, swims and runs.  We even welcomed our patron the Duke of Edinburgh to the centre for the day.

In total, we managed to raise £20,000 for our bursary fund to support disadvantaged children and young people to access courses at Bowles.
