End of term summer activities

Active days outdoors are the perfect way to say congratulations, thank you and to wish a fond farewell to a class or year group, particularly towards the end of the summer term.

Bowles Rocks Bouldering Guide

The pictures are from Right to Left as this is how the crag is approached. The bouldering grades are in ‘Font’ grades. The text describes some of the harder bouldering problems. The coloured lines also show the grade.

Don’t just take our word for it…

100% of the profit generated by Bowles Learning & Development is donated to the Bowles Rocks Trust for the provision of educational programmes for young people

Reigate Priory Junior School

Thank you very much for providing, year on year, exemplary outdoor education. The culture of learning is unique in a beautiful and very well maintained setting. An excellent mix of safe and inspirational, life-changing risk taking with a sense of achievement and purpose.

Gatwick Airport Ltd

The course facilitator was excellent. He understood our goals and our business. We have found that we have converted the skills we learnt back into the workplace. The course has been a springboard to other targets and broken down lots of barriers – I spoke to my colleagues more during our time at Bowles than I have over the last six months. We can’t wait to revisit!

Harlequins RFC

There is absolutely no doubt that I would actively suggest BOC as a venue for programmes for clients in the SE who did not wish to travel to Herefordshire or Devon or even overseas! Your infrastructure, flexibility and professionalism are head and shoulders above so many other activity centres you should be justifiably proud

Parent feedback, Framfield School

3 of my 4 daughters have had residential weeks at Bowles and the little one can’t wait. You give them an absolutely marvellous time – the week seems packed full of challenging activities, fun and adventure and each one has come home slightly changed by the experience – more confident, happy, settled and buzzing with tales of their experiences and team skills. Thank you. Merna

The ethics of Bowles also sat well with our core aims – we strive to be innovative leaders of change but with a sense of community responsibility and a desire to contribute in some way and with the charitable trust receiving all the profits from events like ours, we felt it was a small way in which we could make a difference. We had such an eventful programme that we are now planning future events with the team at Bowles!
