Day visits

The outdoors is the perfect place for a fun, educational and safe course. With so many people across the country having recently missed out on education and social interaction, a day course at Bowles is a perfect way to provide enrichment to the pupils. This will give the students the respite, education, fun and social development they deserve.

A day or activity session at Bowles is an unbeatable way to inject energy and enthusiasm for learning into your group.

We have a number of different types of day visits which are summerised below. We provide all the equipment and instruction for this activity but please make sure you bring your own food, snacks and drinks for the day. If you are doing a a water based activity you will also need a spare change of clothes.

Bowles is runs a full range of outdoor activities that can be done in line with current Covid-19 guidelines. Excellent classroom-based education needs to be supported by equally good learning outside the classroom.  Whether you want to support the curriculum, build rapport and understanding among your class/year group, or to reward them for all their hard work, a day visit to Bowles will have a huge impact.

The days can either be standard days from 9.30am to 4.30pm ( 6 hours activity time), short days from 10am to 3pm ( 4 hours activity time) or long days from 9.30am to 8.30pm (8 hours of activity time). We also offer single sessions either 9.30am to 12.30pm, 1.30pm to 4.30pm or 7.15pm to 9.15 pm. Hot meals can also be provided upon request.
