A rare opportunity has arisen at Bowles and we are now seeking someone with excellent accounts experience to look after the full accounting requirements and payroll for over 50 staff at our thriving charitable trust. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant looking for a lifestyle change.
You will be a member of the Bowles Senior Management Team and also have responsibility for our Administration and Maintenance Teams.

It may be possible to do this role in school hours during term time however school holiday working will be required.

Office Administrator/Office Junior
We are looking for an excellent communicator and ‘multi-tasker’ with strong organisational, team work and IT skills. Applicants must be proactive and have high standards, stay calm under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
Applicants must have a flexible approach and a positive attitude. Good customer service is required and applicants must have the ability to build working relationships with all visitors to the Centre and staff.

Salary: £12,893 – £14,293 (35 hours) or £11,051 – £12,251 (30 hours)
Contract details: 30-35 hours per week (times to be agreed but finish time will be 5pm), hours will include the occasional Saturday morning.
6 month probationary period.

Catering and House-Keeping General Assistant
General Assistants required for our busy catering and housekeeping department. £7.80 an hour.
Role 1: Term time role, immediate start, 8.15am to 2pm Monday to Friday, with optional additional hours available during busy periods.
Role 2: 20 hours per week, annualised contract including evenings and weekends with additional hours available during busy periods, hours allocated via a monthly rota.
Duties to include serving and assisting during meal service, vegetable preparation, laying tables, washing up, loading and unloading the dishwasher and cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms.

Facilitation & reviewing skills within a professional development context would be advantageous.
