Low Ropes and High Ropes on a day course

Bowles has two ropes course areas. The first is the Low Ropes area, which despite the name, does still require safety ropes and harnesses. The second area is our tree top course including High Ropes and Team Ropes. The top section is very high and many people find it a mental and physical challenge.

Low Ropes

The Low Ropes course is a great activity for all ages. For primary school groups the height of the course can be a challenge for some but with the correct support from our instructors and the rest of the group, everyone can complete the course. The students will work in pairs to help encourage each other as well as assisting with the safety equipment.

Older groups can have the added challenge of carrying a  tray of cups around the course. Can you beat the course record set by the British Olympic Swimming Squad of 4 minutes 32 seconds?

High Ropes

Our High Ropes course is built within the tree tops and provides a hard challenge for all. The course is split into two levels. The lower level, Team Ropes, is about 5m from the ground and – you guessed it – requires teamwork to get across. The higher course can be undertaken as an individual, personal challenge and is set at approximately 10m high. Warning – this course is not for the faint hearted!
