Day course activities for schools

Leap of Faith and Jacobs Ladder day course

The Leap of Faith is an activity where students will really push themselves and conquer challenges that they never thought possible.

The aim of Leap of Faith is to climb as high up a free standing pole. At the top of the pole there is an chance to ‘Leap off’ and grab a trapeze bar that is hanging in mid-air.

Jacobs ladder is a teamwork activity that is done at height. Small teams will try to climb as high up the ladder as possible. The problem is that the gaps between the rungs are very big and they will need to bunk, push and haul each other up. This is great activity for secondary school groups and above.

All our instructors are aware that people are individuals and making that leap at the top could be a step too far for some. This is why we will use other activities such as throwing things off the pole to hit the targets or setting individual goals so that everyone involved can accomplish a challenge that is suitable for them.
