Orienteering is a classic outdoor activity that promotes skills much as map reading, using scales, measuring distance and reading a key in fun and exciting way.
We have three options for this activity. Centre orienteering is a short session based around the centre grounds. Once this has been completed you can either progress onto orienteering in some local woods or an orienteering competition. Orienteering in the woods is a harder course where the students will have to apply the skills they have learnt in new environment. Orienteering competition is a large event where all the groups will compete against in other to gain as many points as possible.
